HiFyve is seeking multiple Automation Controls Specialists to join our team.

Compensation:

Entry-Level: $65K-$70K

Experienced Level: $80K-$100K

Position Summary:

As an Automation Controls Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of control systems for our automated solutions. The ideal candidate will possess practical experience with control systems and demonstrate a strong inclination towards problem-solving and innovation.

Key Duties:

  • Design and develop control systems for automated machinery and processes.
  • Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces).
  • Troubleshoot and enhance control systems to ensure peak performance.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including mechanical and electrical engineers, to integrate control systems into comprehensive project designs.
  • Conduct testing, validation, and commissioning of control systems at client locations.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to clients and internal teams.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in control technologies and implement them to enhance our solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in controls engineering, automation, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in programming PLCs, HMIs, and other control devices.
  • Strong grasp of electrical schematics and principles of control system design.
  • Experience with control software such as Rockwell Automation, Siemens, or similar platforms.
  • Aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving complex control system challenges.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Self-driven with the capability to work independently and manage multiple projects.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with robotics and motion control systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.).
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulations pertaining to automated systems.
  • Understanding of data acquisition and SCADA systems.
