Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Regional Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our primary and regional sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong accountability, communication, and organizational skills, with a proven track record in managing affordable housing properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage site operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory codes and fostering positive tenant relations
  • Lead the hiring and retention of property employees, including building managers and staff
  • Supervise maintenance operations, including safety and preventive measures
  • Ensure vacant units meet code standards for lease-ups and move-ins
  • Coordinate maintenance projects to maintain or upgrade properties to code
  • Conduct annual unit inspections to ensure program compliance
  • Manage arrears collection and oversee the annual certification/recertification process
  • Prepare and review section 8 packages

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, with 3-5 years' experience in property management, including Affordable Housing programs
  • Previous supervisory experience, with knowledge and experience with annual certifications
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite and Yardi software
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Familiarity with housing laws, especially affordable housing
