About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Guidehouse. As a Project Manager - IT Initiatives, you will be responsible for leading IT project management initiatives, projects, and objectives to support the strategic goals of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the program management office (PMO) team to manage and enhance business processes
  • Facilitate meetings, develop client communications and reports, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Identify and report on risks and issues, apply agile framework concepts, and deliver solutions to complex program management challenges
  • Collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups to gather information, ensure tasks are completed on time, proactively raise risks and issues, and provide reports to senior level executives
Requirements
  • Active and current Top Secret federal security clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Three or more years of experience supporting technology projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active and current Top Secret/SCI federal security clearance
  • Certificates preferred: PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), Project Management Professional (PMP), and/or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
  • Knowledge preferred: Change Management, IT Program Management, Business Strategy and Transformation
  • Exceptional analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a variety of project environments
  • Experience working with and briefing senior level government stakeholders
  • Ability to gather or create requirements and metrics to address client questions and needs
  • Ability to effectively deliver written and verbal presentations in an informative and succinct manner, addressing questions and feedback professionally
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, work independently, and drive issues to resolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
