Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the global SRE on-call rotation, ensuring prompt response to Tier-1 online incidents and providing devops support.
  • Oversee service levels for critical, revenue-generating e-commerce platforms and their supporting infrastructure, emphasizing service reliability, scalable design, and release management in a cloud-native setting.
  • Establish service level indicators and data-driven objectives, developing devops/SRE standards and methodologies to enhance uptime, latency, and system health for a core global e-commerce production platform.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure essential stability and maintainability requirements, such as capacity planning and launch reviews, are met for transparent service delivery.
  • Design strategies for risk detection, disaster recovery, release management, cost optimization, and engineering quality.
  • Focus on automation for infrastructure-as-code, scalability, and service resilience.
  • Implement best practices for incident management and post-mortems while participating in on-call rotations.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

5 years of experience in developing, provisioning, or maintaining production-grade large-scale distributed systems.


  • Proficient in Linux OS internals, networking, microservices, databases, and caching in cloud-native environments.
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Go, Python, Bash, or C++.
  • Experience in developing and implementing devops and SRE methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
  • A systematic problem-solving approach, effective communication skills, and a strong sense of initiative.
