Job Title: Lead Software Engineer

LevelTen Energy is seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and deployment of our cloud-based software platform.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced software engineer to lead our team of software engineers and test engineers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in full stack web development, experience with cloud deployment, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of our cloud-based software platform
  • Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to capture requirements and plan work
  • Establish technical design for complex solutions and plan work across teams
  • Contribute to the source code on a consistent basis in both new feature development and bug fixing or code refactoring
  • Provide insightful feedback on reviews of code changes submitted from other engineers
  • Mentor team members to improve their skills, productivity, and quality of deliverables
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5 or more years full stack web development in all layers (user experience, services, and databases)
  • 3 or more years team technical leadership and agile delivery
  • Experience with cloud deployment of web applications and services in either Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform
  • Experience collaborating with product managers and program managers to prioritize and deliver features
