Traffic Control Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Traffic Control Flagger to join our team at Area Wide Protective (AWP). As a Traffic Control Flagger, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our clients, employees, and the general public.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and maintain safe work zones using proper equipment and protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the safety of all personnel and vehicles in the work zone.
- Manage traffic flow effectively using stop/slow paddles and other traffic control devices.
- Deliver exceptional service and protection to our clients, including utility, broadband, and infrastructure companies.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to advance from an entry-level position to long-term career opportunities.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to stand for 8-12 hours a day and lift 50-60 pounds.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and traffic settings.
- Experience driving and operating heavy equipment.
- Must pass pre-employment screenings, including a drug test.
