Position Summary
This role is designed to provide comprehensive support to clients and the internal sales team in the preparation, processing, and coordination of customer orders. The ideal candidate will develop exceptional technical skills and a thorough understanding of the order fulfillment process. Strong communication abilities, both internally and externally, are essential. A commitment to professionalism through continuous improvement is expected.


This position requires a physical presence in our Concord showroom five days a week.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop client proposals, including new customer setup, entry/import of specifications, pricing, classification, and revenue codes.
  • Generate purchase orders upon receipt of a complete order entry packet.
  • Ensure timely entry of orders, reviewing for accuracy and completeness before submission to manufacturers/vendors.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal project teams to resolve acknowledgment discrepancies and manage shipping timelines based on project needs.
  • Create and distribute customer status reports.
  • Coordinate delivery and installation dates with vendors, operations, clients, and project managers as necessary.
  • Assist with project management tasks, including specification checks and resolution of punch IDs.
  • Engage in vendor and dealer training programs for ongoing professional development.

Departmental Duties:

  • Support individual sales representatives and account managers by completing requested tasks.
  • Act as a central communication hub for cross-functional teams (Design, Project Management, Finance, and Operations).
  • Ensure all communications with internal and external customers are timely, accurate, and meet their information and order status requirements.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Ability to learn and apply technical skills in dealership business systems and 20/20 software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and administrative capabilities.
  • Ability to understand the broader context and integrate it into daily tasks.
  • Knowledge of the complexities involved in a dealership environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage with a diverse range of customers and departments.
  • High School Diploma required.
  • Preferred experience in customer service.
  • Experience with dealership business systems is a plus.
  • Background in the furniture industry is advantageous.
