Qualifications:

  • Experience in a non-manufacturing setting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with cable and harness assembly is preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions and follow directions accurately.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and capability to perform repetitive assembly tasks.
  • General knowledge of hand tools, portable power tools, and bench tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, commitment to quality, and eagerness to learn.
  • Effective communication skills are essential.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to operate standard software applications.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints.

Educational Background:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.
  • Completion of technician coursework or an AA technical degree is beneficial.

Experience Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with helium leak testing and module inspection is preferred.

Physical and Environmental Demands:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks including stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, pushing, pulling, and grasping.
  • Must be able to exert up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and up to 10 pounds frequently.
  • Capability to use arms, hands, and fingers effectively.
  • Personal protective equipment may be required.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Comfortable using ladders as needed.

Work Environment:

  • Work is primarily conducted in a standard manufacturing setting.
  • Exposure to electrical currents, moving mechanical parts, and potential chemical hazards.
  • Noise levels may vary.

Travel Requirements:

Occasional out-of-town travel may be necessary for training and meetings.
