The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care in alignment with the established protocols and standards of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements individualized patient care plans, ensuring thorough monitoring and documentation of patient conditions.
- Acts as the primary liaison among various healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Executes physician and nursing directives efficiently.
- Evaluates and coordinates discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Engages in rounds with physicians in inpatient environments as necessary.
- Utilizes evidence-based practices and clinical knowledge to tailor nursing care to the specific needs of patients across all age groups.
- Upholds the professional nursing standards as outlined in our practice model, guided by the ANA Code of Ethics.
- Maintains a vigilant and safe working environment.
- Performs additional duties as required.
Educational Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program or equivalent educational background for licensure.
Experience:
- No prior experience is necessary.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly communicates verbally to convey information.
- Engages in continuous standing and walking.
- Frequently lifts, carries, and maneuvers objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Involves frequent sitting, reaching, and data entry tasks.
- Requires frequent visual acuity for close and distant tasks, including color differentiation.
- Utilizes olfactory senses to identify and recognize various odors.
- Engages auditory senses to receive verbal communication and detect alarms.
- Occasionally lifts and moves objects weighing between 25-50 lbs.
- Occasionally assists in the lifting and moving of patients.
- Involves occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, and other physical movements.
- May require occasional driving.
- Rarely involves crawling or running.

- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Professional Nurse (RN) - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
For Missouri:
- Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
- Or Registered Nurse (RN) issued by Compact State
For Oklahoma:
