Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Area Kitchen Manager to join our team at The Sicilian Butcher Arizona. As a key member of our culinary leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring consistency and quality across multiple locations, and driving excellence in food preparation and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and train kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation and presentation.
  • Oversee food preparation, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely supply orders to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Schedule kitchen shifts and manage labor costs within budget to optimize productivity and minimize waste.
  • Facilitate back-of-house (BOH) training and execute new menu rollouts to ensure seamless implementation and high-quality execution.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and kitchen health regulations to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Requirements:

  • Must possess strong interpersonal and motivational skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and inspire staff to achieve high standards of quality and excellence.
  • Hands-on leader with a strong focus on development, guidance, and showcasing brand standards.
  • Extremely high standards, attention to detail, and ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of personal initiative, action, and results-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional guest service and operational excellence.
  • Responsibilities include all day-to-day operating activities, staffing, revenue growth, expense, cost, and margin control, with a focus on achieving weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial goals.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or certification from culinary school preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar leadership role, with a strong track record of success in driving kitchen excellence and achieving high standards of quality and efficiency.
  • Proficiency in kitchen health and safety regulations, with a strong understanding of food safety protocols and procedures.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to effectively utilize technology to drive productivity and efficiency.
