Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Export Compliance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring global export control regulations, assessing risks and consequences, and obtaining regional and global export permits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze global export control regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Assess risks and consequences of non-compliance and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Obtain regional and global export permits, including zero rulings.
  • Serve as the global contact for end-user and embargo-related export controls.
  • Maintain export control classifications and work on customs and export control audits.
  • Develop and deliver training materials and conduct internal training on export control procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with export regulations.

Requirements

  • Completed commercial apprenticeship or degree in a relevant field.
  • Further education in customs, foreign trade, and export processing is an asset.
  • 3-5 years of experience in export control and/or customs.
