SoundOff Signal is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This role demands a high level of expertise in manufacturing engineering principles, processes, and methods.
Job Responsibilities:
- To determine optimal methods and processes for manufacturing company products.
- Coordination of activities with other departments, such as R&D, production control, and purchasing.
- To lead Kaizen Activities to improve first time quality through appropriate Poka-yoke fixturing and cell layout.
- To drive innovation with Process and Design utilizing state-of-the-art assembly and design techniques.
- To work as part of a team dedicated to continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of 7 years related experience.
- ISO quality system and lean manufacturing experience/training.
- Knowledge and understanding of overall functions and operations of a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
