Position: IT Business Analyst - II (Experienced)

Qualifications:

Note: This role is not strictly a core Business IT position.

The selected candidate will be part of the Business Operations Systems Excellence team within Global Procurement. This role entails engaging with stakeholders on a global scale to implement activities that leverage systems, processes, and information to enhance operational efficiencies and provide insights into business performance. The objective is to support data-driven decision-making and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the connection between business strategy and the requirements for systems, processes, and information.
  • Develop assessments and recommendations aimed at enhancing customer service, minimizing costs and risks, and improving compliance, policies, process design, and service levels.

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as:

  • Computer Science
  • Information Systems
  • Finance and Accounting
  • Business Analytics

• A degree in a field that demonstrates technical competencies.

Essential Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of working with incomplete or imperfect information.
  • Demonstrated persistence and motivation, thriving on new challenges and learning opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience collaborating with diverse, cross-functional teams.

Required Experience:

• Proficiency in Fieldglass; experience within a Program Management Office.

Preferred Skills:

  • Analytical Thinking; knowledge of SAP Fieldglass Functional aspects.
  • Experience with SAP Ariba B&I and administration.
  • Ability to develop and execute test scripts and document outcomes.

Additional Skills:

• Familiarity with procurement processes for managing Contingent Labor and SOW Services using a Vendor Management System, ideally Fieldglass.

• Understanding of Fieldglass and Ariba Master Data and its impact on end-to-end processes.

• Capability to think critically and communicate effectively with leadership across a global audience.

• Knowledge of reporting tools and financial modules within ERP platforms, such as SAP ECC.

• Strong skills in Microsoft applications and effective report writing.

Work Experience:

• Experience Level: 3-5 Years

Responsibilities:

  • Support business activities across Ariba Sourcing, Contracting, and Buying and Invoicing Modules.
  • Assist with end-user reporting needs for Fieldglass and Ariba.
  • Manage Commodity Code/Material Code change processes and governance.
  • Participate in Fieldglass Contingent Worker projects, including system testing and planning.
  • Collaborate with production support teams to ensure continuity of processes.
  • Act as backup for Ariba Guided Buying administration.
