Job Title: Litigation Paralegal

Kellogg Hansen, a leading trial and appellate litigation firm in Washington, D.C., seeks a skilled Litigation Paralegal to support our Washington, D.C. office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist attorneys in preparing court submissions, written discovery, and legal memoranda, utilizing strong cite checking and blue booking skills.
  • Manage assigned cases and their related tasks and projects, demonstrating project and case management skills.
  • Organize and oversee case rooms and electronic repositories, ensuring all documentation is filed appropriately.
  • Support trial preparation and trials, including preparing trial exhibits and demonstratives, witness files, and examination materials.
  • Conduct factual research, analyze information, and maintain discovery files, notice depositions, and draft subpoenas.
  • Work with databases and litigation software packages, and possess the ability to work and learn independently, meet deadlines, and interact well with attorneys, staff, and clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a law firm as a litigation paralegal.
  • Ability to work overtime required.
  • Ability to travel, typically for trial.
