Special Education Teacher Opportunity at Potential Inc.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher at Potential Inc., specifically for our Springtime School. This role focuses on managing tailored educational programs for K-12+ students (ages 6-21) who have been diagnosed with autism or other developmental challenges. Our mission is to cultivate a nurturing educational atmosphere by applying daily activities that align with the core curriculum through the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

  • Collaborate effectively with on-site Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Behavior Analysts to achieve the best educational results.
  • Evaluate student requirements, design, and implement instructional strategies.
  • Employ a variety of assessments and evidence-based teaching techniques in accordance with Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Work within a small classroom setting accommodating 3-6 students, each supported by a behavior technician, promoting teamwork towards educational objectives.
