We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at InBloom Autism Services. As a BCBA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality behavioral services to our clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide supervision to Registered Behavioral Technicians (RBTs) working with clients, ensuring they receive the best possible care and support.
- Develop and implement child-specific behavior plans in accordance with the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Train RBTs on client-specific behavior treatment plans, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide effective support.
- Conduct regular reviews of data to ensure treatment plans are effective and make adjustments as needed.
- Modify programs that are not making progress or that the client has mastered, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
- Conduct assessments, such as the VB-MAPP, ABLLS, or AFLS, upon intake and every 6 months, to monitor client progress.
- Track authorizations dates for clients and update treatment plans before authorizations expire, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Monitor and adjust behavior plans throughout the treatment period, in accordance with the client's progression.
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) as needed, to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
- Participate in bi-weekly BCBA group meetings and monthly 1:1 meetings with the Clinical Integrity Officer (CIO) to discuss client progress and concerns.
- Provide regular parent/caretaker training, empowering them to support their child's behavioral growth.
- Maintain knowledge of different programs and certifications through Continuing Education Unit (CEU) events, ensuring you stay up-to-date with best practices.
- Assist with scheduling and provide direct coverage as needed, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Be present in the center during business hours, providing a stable and supportive environment for clients and staff.
- Assist with any clinical needs as they arise, demonstrating a commitment to excellence in service delivery.
- Support clients and RBTs with a minimum of 28 impact weekly hours, ensuring the best possible outcomes.
- Supervise RBTs who are working towards their BCBA certification, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
- Conduct weekly competencies for newly hired RBTs and monthly competencies for RBTs who have been with the company longer than 1 month, ensuring they meet the necessary standards.
- Review RBTs' session notes for accuracy and provide detailed feedback to RBTs, helping them improve their skills and knowledge.
- Provide initial corrective feedback to RBTs, when needed, as part of progressive disciplinary action procedures, ensuring a fair and supportive work environment.
- Proactively manage and develop RBT staff, helping them grow and develop in their roles.
- BACB Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required.
- A Master's degree in special education, psychology, or a related field, with specialized knowledge of behavioral health and treatment philosophies and professional practices.
- Possess extensive knowledge and training in behavior analysis.
- Previous experience in supervision preferred.
- Must abide by The Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts on the BACB.
- Must abide by HIPAA policies set forth by InBloom Autism Services.
- Must have reliable transportation, a driver's license, insurance, and a smartphone.
- Work positively and favorably with consumers, families, and staff.
- Demonstrate compassion, responsibility, and a cheerful attitude.
- Requires strong analysis, judgment, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
