8-hour work shifts

with

rotating schedule
Day Shift: 7A-3P

Evening Shift: 3P-11P

Rotation between the two shifts is mandatory.

Compensation Package:
Attractive starting wage of

$33.05 per hour
$5,000 Sign-on bonus

Key Responsibilities:
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will:
  • Utilize computer systems to monitor the status of electrical repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Inspect and diagnose electrical issues using testing instruments, manuals, and schematics.
  • Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Fabricate and weld components as necessary.
  • Connect power supply wires to machinery and equipment, following technical manuals and diagrams.
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning electrical apparatus, including transformers and motors.
  • Employ a variety of tools and equipment for maintenance tasks.
  • Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety codes.
  • Prepare sketches or follow blueprints to determine wiring locations and ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Install conduits and wiring as required.
  • Advise management on potential hazards related to equipment operation.
  • Adhere to all Safe Quality Food (SQF) requirements and facility safety protocols.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • A recent technical school diploma in Electrical Systems, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance is highly preferred.
  • Ability to pass a Ramsay Assessment, which tests mechanical and electrical knowledge.
  • Experience with machining tools (mill, lathe, grinder, etc.) and welding (TIG, stick).
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
  • Basic plumbing skills, including threading and soldering.
  • Understanding and troubleshooting experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic systems.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts.
