Responsibilities
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk during the overnight shift, handling guest check-ins, check-outs, and requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Auditing and Reporting: Conduct thorough audits of hotel operations, including financial transactions, guest accounts, and other relevant data to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Security and Safety: Conduct regular security checks of the hotel premises, ensuring that all areas are secure and that guests are safe.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with other hotel staff, including management, housekeeping, and maintenance teams, to ensure seamless operation of hotel services.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in a related field (e.g., hospitality, accounting) is an asset.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field, with a focus on front desk operations and auditing.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing software.
