Job Title: Deli Receiving Manager

Position Summary:

The Deli Receiving Manager reports to the Assistant Branch Managers and Branch Manager and has the overall responsibility for monitoring and assisting in all activities in the Receiving Department pertaining to all incoming/outgoing merchandise. Must take precautions and be aware of any potential theft indicators. In addition, provides leadership and guidance to all power equipment operators that are involved with loading and unloading of product from trailers. This position includes manual labor.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure accuracy of item description and counts for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  2. Verify accuracy of all UPC numbers for all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  3. Accurately complete Manifest/Bill of Lading.
  4. Maintain IBT Seal Log for both incoming and outgoing deliveries.
  5. Run and follow up on Purchase Orders (Order Pool) with Buying or Logistics Department to ensure timely delivery.
  6. Record and file all incoming and outgoing Purchase Orders.
  7. Ensure Goods Received Book (GRB) and any Adjustment Vouchers (AVs) are current and accurate.
  8. Verify Receiving Clerk accurately enters all received items on the day of receipt.
  9. Maintain accurate Driver Logs and file appropriately.
  10. Ensure Receiving Clerk has all deliveries properly scheduled.
  11. Unload, verify, record, and label all Cross-Dock Pickups.
  12. Ensure all Safety Policies are being adhered to in the department.
  13. Implement and maintain HACCP guidelines according to plan.
  14. Physically assist in loading and unloading of trucks.
  15. Assist in other departments as needed.
  16. Provide friendly, efficient, and professional customer service.

  1. Perform other work-related duties as required and assigned.
  2. Assist in other departments as required and assigned.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 1 year of similar experience.
  2. Effective communication and presentation skills.
  3. Ability to calculate figures and amounts.
  4. Computer literacy.
  5. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  6. Commitment to company values and strong customer orientation.

Compensation:

$20.15 per hour.
