  • Serve as the primary point of contact for interactions with the FAA and Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs), ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance design processes, optimize efficiency, and elevate overall performance.
  • Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional growth.
  • Prepare concise and informative reports for senior management, providing updates on project progress, key achievements, and potential challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 5+ years of experience.
  • Demonstrate at least 5 years of proven experience in a managerial role within the aerospace industry.
  • Exhibit proficiency in SolidWorks CAD, EPDM, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess a strong understanding of ANSI/ASME Y14.5, GD&T/FT&A standards.
  • Have hands-on experience with SolidWorks Simulation, aircraft integration, certification processes (FAR Part 23 or 25), and FAA regulations.
  • Display exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling clear and concise interactions with stakeholders at all levels.
