Building Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced professional to manage commercial construction projects. As a key member of our team at Construction Services LLC, you will oversee project execution, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with engineers and subcontractors to determine project requirements, setting performance goals and deadlines, and planning construction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine project needs and develop project plans.
  2. Set performance goals and deadlines, and monitor progress to ensure project delivery.
  3. Plan and coordinate construction processes, including resource allocation and budget management.
  4. Supervise staff and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality work.
  5. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
  6. Plan and conduct site inspections, and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
  7. Implement safety and quality guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  8. Manage equipment and material inventory, and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
  9. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site, and resolve on-site issues and emergencies.

Requirements and Skills:

We are seeking a candidate with 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in commercial construction. Key qualifications include:

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or in a similar role.

Skills:

  • Site experience and/or concrete experience.
  • Commercial construction experience.
  • Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites.
  • In-depth understanding of construction operations and processes.
  • Familiarity with CAD software.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire.

Education:

A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a similar field is preferred but not required.
