Job Summary

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Service Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Operating Room department, you will be responsible for leading each individual surgical service, overseeing clinical, educational, and operational needs, and demonstrating leadership competencies through ICARE values, fiscal responsibility, clinical excellence, and team development.

Key Responsibilities

* Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, nursing, CPD, MDT, and others to plan, coordinate, and execute surgical procedures and overall surgical schedule in specialty areas.
* Demonstrate clinical expertise in service and other services in both circulator and scrub roles.
* Develop and implement strategies to ensure success in clinical, operational, and educational aspects, while working closely with the leadership team to plan vision and strategy.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
* At least five years of circulator/scrub experience required; five years of experience as a Circulator/Scrub Nurse preferred.
* Certified Perioperative Nurse - Operating Room Nurse Certification (CNOR) preferred; CPN preferred.
