Job Title: Surgical Services Associate

This role plays a critical part in supporting the surgical team by coordinating patient-related activities, managing clinical practice operations, and ensuring seamless communication between patients, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient scheduling, including outpatient visits and surgical procedures
  • Manage patient records, including retrieving and processing medical records, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of pre-operative testing
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective practice operations
  • Prepare and process surgical billing, including obtaining procedural authorizations and preparing correspondence
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 2+ years of medical office experience or 2 years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting
  • Related clinical office experience required; prior customer service or insurance verification experience preferred
