Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Member Services Representative to join our team at Planet Fitness - Fitton Clubs. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring a Judgement Free member experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service/Front Desk Activities:
    • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for members and guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
    • Answer phone calls in a friendly and professional manner, addressing member inquiries and concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Process membership transactions, including check-ins, tours, and sign-ups, while maintaining accurate records and communicating updates to members and guests.
    • Respond to member questions and concerns, providing solutions and alternatives when necessary.
    • Operate the point-of-sale system to process beverage and merchandise sales, as well as membership card transactions.
  • Club Cleanliness and Maintenance:
    • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, lobby, and surrounding spaces, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and safety.
    • Perform regular facility cleaning and upkeep, including mopping, trash removal, and equipment maintenance.
    • Ensure all exercise equipment and tanning beds are clean and well-maintained, adhering to manufacturer guidelines.
    • Regularly clean and stock restrooms and wet areas, maintaining a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with members and colleagues in a positive and respectful manner.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for prolonged periods, with the physical ability to perform CPR/AED in the event of a medical emergency.
