We are seeking a Research Nurse to interact directly with healthy volunteer participants, learn to read clinical research protocols, and work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.

This is a full-time, office/clinic-based job in Madison, WI, requiring a mix of shifts, including morning, night, and weekend shifts.

The Research Nurse will utilize their skills, knowledge, and clinical judgment to provide a high standard of care for participants in clinical trials and respond to emergency situations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Utilizing nursing assessment skills to observe participant general well-being and potential adverse events.
  • Documenting adverse events and taking appropriate action as needed.
  • Obtaining Informed Consent and continuing the ICF process by educating, explaining, and informing participants of study procedures.
  • Administering investigational compounds to participants according to the protocol and applicable regulations.
  • Performing study-related activities such as cannulation, telemetry, holters, vital signs, ECGs, and venipuncture.

Requirements include an Associate degree/BS in nursing with current licensure in the applicable state, CPR/AED certification, ACLS certification, and 2-3 years of nursing experience.
