Job Overview

Position Summary:

This organization specializes in the fabrication of new truck bodies, along with the repair and finishing of trucks and other large machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

The role encompasses a variety of tasks, including:

  • Welding (REQUIRED)
  • Assessing vehicle bodies for damage
  • Developing repair strategies
  • Metalworking
  • Fixing and replacing damaged components on vehicle bodies
  • Ensuring quality control (verifying that repairs meet quality standards)
  • Keeping accurate records

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Skills: Must possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be comfortable using tools and equipment. Personal tools are necessary. Experience with hydraulic systems on trucks is a plus.
  • Welding Skills: Expertise in welding methods (STICK WELDING) and working with steel.
  • Detail-Oriented: Careful in evaluating damage and executing precise repairs.
  • Ability to Work Independently: Must be self-motivated and capable of following instructions.
  • Physical Capability: Must be able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to Follow Directions: Must be receptive to guidance.
  • PERSONAL TOOLS ARE A MUST

Work Schedule:

7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Essential Skills:

Auto body repair, Power tools, Mechanical knowledge, Welding

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Bondo application, painting, auto body work, fiberglass repair, bodywork.
