- Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to ensure seamless repair status updates.
- Perform high-quality repairs while maintaining on-time delivery.
- Make informed decisions on repair vs. replacement, considering safety, cost, and cycle time.
- Remove and reinstall vehicle components, such as upholstery, accessories, and electrical systems.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and adhere to industry standards.
- File, grind, and sand repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools.
- Supervise and mentor apprentices as needed, providing guidance on complex tasks and procedures.
- Proficiency in using frame machines.
- Certification in body repair is preferred.
- Knowledge of vehicle repair processes by manufacturer.
- I-CAR welding certification.
- Ability to analyze and interpret measuring data.
- Supervisory experience in repair personnel management.
- Pass a thorough background check.
