Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager - Emergency Room

About the Role:

The Clinical Nurse Manager - Emergency Room will be responsible for overseeing the clinical, operational, and financial management of the Emergency Department. This includes ensuring high-quality patient care, cultivating a learning environment, and promoting professional growth and self-sufficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure department functioning in accordance with regulatory agencies, state statutes, and practice standards.
  • Support Elliot Health System policies and procedures for safe patient care and collaborate in reviewing and revising nursing departmental policies.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor departmental educational programs.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to interview and select candidates for employment.
  • Conduct timely coaching and annual performance evaluations.
  • Prepare annual departmental budget with projected census, revenues, staffing plans, operating expenses, and capital requests.
Requirements:
  • BSN required from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Three years of recent clinical experience required, with previous management or leadership experience strongly preferred.
