MRI Technologist

The MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a wide range of diagnostic imaging procedures using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) technology. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
- Monitor patients during procedures and respond to any emergencies that may arise
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and imaging results
- Advanced Specialty Certification in MRI or equivalent experience
- Ability to work on-call and varied shifts, including weekends and evenings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- AART license/certification within six months of hire date
