Gersh Autism is seeking a skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to provide high-quality speech therapy services to children aged 5-21. The ideal candidate will collaborate with other disciplines and services to support students with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans to promote optimal function and engagement in meaningful activities.
  • Collaborate with families, teachers, and other professionals to address goals and objectives outlined in each student's Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) or Individualized Education Program (IEP).
  • Provide speech and language evaluations, assessments, and interventions for language, auditory processing disorder, articulation, and voice fluency.
  • Work with children with autism and utilize evidence-based behavior management techniques.
  • Write comprehensive evaluations and progress reports.
  • Consult and collaborate with parents, schoolteachers, and colleagues to ensure effective communication and support.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student services and subsequent needs in compliance with state and local requirements.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders.
  • TSSLD certification preferred.
  • PROMPT Experience preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Monday – Friday / 8:00am – 4:00pm, part-time available.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed based on school events.
  • School/Classroom Setting.
