Data Analytics Project Manager

About the Role
The iSpace is seeking a skilled Data Analytics Project Manager to lead our innovative Data Analytics project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for facilitating team collaboration, delivering high-quality data analytics solutions, and ensuring project success.
Key Responsibilities
Scrum Master
- Facilitate daily stand-up meetings to review progress, discuss any roadblocks, and plan the day's work.
- Organize and lead sprint planning sessions to define the work for the upcoming sprint.
- Conduct sprint reviews to showcase completed work and retrospectives to discuss what went well and what could be improved.
Project Management
- Monitor the progress of tasks and ensure they are on track.
- Update project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) with the latest status.
- Locate resources effectively to ensure tasks are completed on time.
- Adjust resource allocation as needed based on project demands.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor existing risks and update risk management plans.
Stakeholder Communication
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, challenges, and next steps.
- Prepare and distribute status reports.
- Schedule and attend meetings with stakeholders to discuss project requirements, progress, and any issues that need resolution.
Team Collaboration
- Assist team members in resolving any impediments they encounter.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure they can complete their tasks effectively.
- Encourage open communication and collaboration within the team.
- Promote a positive and productive team environment.
Continuous Improvement
- Continuously look for ways to improve project processes and team performance.
- Implement changes based on feedback from retrospectives and other sources.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Required Skills and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management.
- 3+ years serving in a full Scrum Master role.
- Experience performing the following Scrum Master duties: facilitating daily stand-up meetings, organizing and leading sprint planning sessions, and conducting sprint reviews.
- Must be a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or have an equivalent Agile certification.
- Experience managing projects from inception to completion, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing phases.
- Practical experience with Agile methodologies and frameworks, such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Ability to apply these methodologies to manage and deliver projects efficiently.
Desired Skills and Expertise
- PMP Certification is a plus.
- Experience in data analytics projects is highly desirable.
- Experience in automotive and motorcycle OEM industry is a plus.
