Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Noncredit Business Instructor to join our team at College of the Canyons. As a Noncredit Business Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching and developing curriculum for our Noncredit Business programs. Responsibilities
  • Teach and develop curriculum for Noncredit Business programs
  • Develop and implement instructional materials and assessments
  • Provide student support and guidance
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program goals and objectives
  • Participate in department and college-wide committees and activities
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and two years of occupational experience related to the subject of the course taught
  • OR Associate degree and six years of occupational experience related to the subject of the course taught
  • OR Possession of a full-time, clear California Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential authorizing instruction in the subject matter
  • OR For courses in an occupation for which the District offers or has offered apprenticeship instruction, the minimum qualifications for noncredit apprenticeship instructors in that occupation, as specified in title 5 section 53413
Working Conditions

Assignments may include Monday through Friday (day and evening), as well as Saturday classes. Noncredit Salary Rate for Enhance Classes: Starting at $88.30 per hour.
