Job Title: Director, Corporate Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Corporate Development to join our Global Corporate Development team at PayPal. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing inorganic growth strategies and opportunities for PayPal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets and strategic investments
  • Develop and execute comprehensive deal plans, including financial modeling, due diligence, and negotiations
  • Lead cross-functional diligence teams and act as the primary contact for target companies
  • Mentor and develop deal team members who assist with sourcing, financial modeling, and diligence

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Corporate Development, Private Equity, or Investment Banking
  • Strong experience in transaction document negotiation and leading all aspects of a deal to integration
  • Strong analytical skills, including financial modeling, valuation (public & private), and synergy analysis
  • Adept with technology and a strategic thinker who knows what is best for the business
  • Excellent judgment, mature, and experience working with Board-level executives
  • Experience in developing teams (training, performance evaluations, culture building)
