Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Governance and Innovation Lead to join our team at LCG, Inc. as a key member of our innovation team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in establishing and refining the foundational elements of our innovation strategy, working closely with our clients to develop governance structures, facilitate discovery and innovation sessions, and create strategic roadmaps that align with their IT Strategic Plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement governance structures and strategic roadmaps that align with client IT Strategic Plans.
  • Facilitate sessions using Design Intelligence (DI) methods to establish value propositions and obtain buy-in for innovation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop the charter, organizational structure, mission, and objectives for the Innovation Branch.
  • Support the Innovation Committee by providing assessments and evaluations of pilot projects and new ideas.
  • Develop a multi-year Innovation Strategic Roadmap that integrates with the client IT Strategic Plan and client IT Modernization Plan.
  • Coordinate the development and launch of pilot initiatives within the first 120 days of contract award.
  • Lead pilot projects through various phases, including Appreciate, Innovate, Iterate, and Activate, to develop innovative solutions addressing customer and stakeholder needs.
  • Ensure effective communication of pilot results to stakeholders and project transition and governance.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Communication and Marketing Plan focused on engaging stakeholders with the Innovation team and promoting the branch's achievements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Innovation Management, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in innovation management, governance, strategic planning, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing governance structures and strategic roadmaps.
  • Experience leading and facilitating innovation sessions with diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills with experience in managing pilot projects and evaluating new ideas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and root causes.
  • Proficiency in using DI methods, Human-Centered Design (HCD), and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
