The North America Heavy Duty Sales Manager will be a key member of our organization, responsible for developing and driving the commercial success of our JOSAM branded Heavy Duty portfolio in Collision Repair, Wheel Alignment, and connected equipment. This role will interact daily with strategic distribution partners to grow sales, secure premium representation of our brand, and achieve high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute Sales Strategy: Develop JOSAM Sales within North America according to specified Sales Targets and Business Plan.
- Execute Demonstrational Activities: Execute demonstrational activities, value of product presentations, ROI calculations, and business case calculations as part of an effective sales pitch with Key Accounts, distribution partners, end-customers, or prospects.
- Administration and Coordination: Administration of sales activities and sales, servicing, and training opportunities in the CRM system and engage fully in regular Sales Meetings.
- Market Analysis and Planning: Plan, coordinate, and evaluate sales activities and promotional campaigns in cooperation with distribution partners with maximum return and mutual success.
- Competence Development: Secure and continuously improve the competence level of our strategic partners in our products and solutions to maximize success rate of sales and customer satisfaction.
- Market Monitoring and Forecasting: Monitor the assigned market(s) and their development both political and macro economical to anticipate impact on our business. Mine new market potential and business evolutions in terms of future product needs or legislation changes and drive them through the product support and development teams.
- Organizational Improvement: Actively drive improvement opportunities within the organization.
- 5+ years of Sales Management experience, required.
- Strong B2B experience preferred.
- Acceptable knowledge of automotive manufacturing products and industry requirements; preferably with a Heavy Duty professional background or passion.
- Previous substantial experience with customer contact in technical sales situations and hands-on demonstrations.
- Previous substantial experience with the sales of capital equipment and terminology as ROI and TCO.
- Experience in Value-based selling.
- Comfortable with PCs in general and Microsoft Office in particular (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong Presentation & Demonstration skills.
- Negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel throughout North America.
