Walashek Industrial & Marine Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Boiler Technician to join their team.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 per year

Job Description
As an Industrial Boiler Technician at Walashek Industrial & Marine Inc., you will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of boilers and pressure vessels. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and test boiler systems for leaks or defects
  • Repair and replace valves using hand and power tools
  • Clean and inspect boilers and boiler furnaces
  • Install manholes, handholes, taps, tubes, valves, gauges, and feedwater connections in drums of water tube boilers
  • Clean pressure vessel equipment using scrapers, wire brushes, and cleaning solvents
  • Install refractory brick in fireboxes

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in boiler, heat exchanger, and valve repair. You must also be able to pass a drug screen and obtain DBIDS/TWIC credentials. Additionally, you must be able to work in open-air conditions, including noise, hot, and cold temperatures, as well as confined spaces.
