About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Wireless Installation Apprentice to join our team at Workforce Connections, Arkansas Department of Commerce.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist experienced technicians in installing and maintaining wireless communication systems, working closely with customers to understand their needs and provide excellent service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist senior technicians with installing and repairing wireless communication equipment, including antennas and base stations
  • Maintain accurate records of job sites, tasks completed, and customer interactions
  • Communicate effectively with customers, addressing their concerns and providing solutions
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred
  • Ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and balance on uneven surfaces
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel out-of-state as needed
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for extended periods
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Compensation and Benefits

Estimated annual salary: $45,000 - $60,000 based on location and experience
