Clinical Education Specialist

The Vanderbilt University Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant Educational Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our educational team, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical experiences for students and supporting the program director with curricular implementation, competency evaluations, and ensuring high-quality learning experiences for students.
Key Responsibilities- Organize, coordinate, and evaluate the clinical education experience
- Communicate with existing clinical sites to ensure high-quality clinical experiences and seek opportunities for growth and development in new clinical experiences
- Assist in the planning and implementation of classroom instruction as needed
- Monitor student performance and competency completion of clinical and education experiences
- Support the program director and program faculty in achieving program goals
Our professional administrative functions include critical supporting roles in information technology and informatics, finance, administration, legal and community affairs, human resources, communications and marketing, development, facilities, and many more.
