We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Medical City Arlington. As a Radiology Technologist, you will operate standard, portable, and specialized X-ray equipment to perform routine and semi-complex radiographic examinations used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities- Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
- Develop and process films and transmit to a Radiologist for interpretation.
- Administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
- Ensure prompt transfer of images and documents to PACS system (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
- Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
- Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
- State Registered Radiologic Technician
- Must be graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Current License as an (MRT) by the State of Texas required.
