Medical City Arlington is seeking a dedicated Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures and take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
  • Develop and process films and transmit to a Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure prompt transfer of images and documents to PACS system (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).
  • Turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
  • Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT).
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician.
  • Must be graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Current License as an (MRT) by the State of Texas required.
