Risk Assessment Specialist

The Risk Assessment Specialist plays a crucial role in gathering underwriting data, overseeing claims administration, issuing certificates, and managing surety bonds.
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Vice President of Risk Management
Direct Reports: None
Key Responsibilities: The following duties outline the responsibilities of the Analyst and may be adjusted as organizational needs evolve.
- Collect and evaluate renewal and claims information to facilitate insurance placements.
- Coordinate with brokerage teams as necessary.
- Conduct data analysis and risk assessments.
- Examine quotes, binders, endorsements, policies, and audits for precision.
- Oversee the invoice payment process for all placements, fees, and claims billing.
- Ensure timely issuance of insurance certificates.
- Keep updated Statement of Values, Auto Schedules, and other underwriting data throughout the year.
- Assess insurance clauses in vendor agreements.
- Support the implementation and management of Risk Control Programs.
- Administer Surety Bonds, including placements and releases.
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Real Estate, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in risk analysis or management.
- Preferred: Georgia Property and Casualty license.
- Preferred: Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.
- Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication skills for effective data collection and results delivery across the organization.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proactive mindset focused on efficiency and process enhancement as responsibilities expand.
