Developmental Therapist

Soar Autism Center is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Entry-Level Developmental Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team. As a Developmental Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the lives of children on the autism spectrum.
About the RoleAs a Developmental Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized care to children with autism. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized developmental plans, upholding the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) and maintaining fidelity to Soar's model.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 care to children with autism, teaching new skills and promoting comprehensive growth
- Engage children in play-based routines, transforming everyday moments into opportunities for teaching and nurturing essential life skills
- Collaborate with our team to design and implement individualized developmental plans, ensuring continuity of care from diagnosis through therapy
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, providing regular insights on their child's progress and offering guidance rooted in best child care practices
- Experience in child care roles, such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions, or related educational experiences (e.g. bachelors in psychology or child development)
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a talent for building connections with young children and their families
- Ability to work effectively on a team
- $20.50-$26.00/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities
