About the Role:As a Developmental Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized care to children with autism. Your primary focus will be on teaching new skills, promoting comprehensive growth, and fostering a supportive environment for children to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized developmental plans, ensuring fidelity to Soar's model and the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM).
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement therapy plans, promoting seamless continuity of care for families.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, providing regular insights on their child's progress and offering guidance rooted in best child care practices.
- Engage children in play-based routines, transforming everyday moments into opportunities for teaching and nurturing essential life skills.
- Prior experience in child care roles, such as daycare, nannying, or similar positions, or related educational experiences (e.g., bachelors in psychology or child development).
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a talent for building connections with young children and their families.
- Ability to work effectively on a team and collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals.
- $20.50-$26.00/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities.
