Wireless Network Installation Specialist

At TEKsystems, we are seeking experienced Wireless Network Installation Specialists to join our team on a nationwide roll-out project. This project involves installing Wireless Access Points inside Walmart stores across the country.
Salary: $125 per day per diem, plus additional compensation for overtime and drive time.
Job Description:
We are looking for self-motivated individuals with experience in CAT5 pulls, termination, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have experience with Fiber cable, including pulling, terminating, and putting on connectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for running cables from switch to AP location, hanging APs, and hanging external omni antennas.
Scope of Work:
The scope of this project includes:
- Installing Wireless Access Points inside Walmart stores
- Running cables from switch to AP location
- Hanging APs and external omni antennas
- Troubleshooting and installing cables or WAPs as needed
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, the candidate must have:
- Experience in CAT5 pulls, termination, and troubleshooting
- Experience with Fiber cable, including pulling, terminating, and putting on connectors
- Ability to work well with others and be comfortable working on lifts
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently
