Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Line Worker-CDL to join our team at Arkansas Electric. As a key member of our Construction Department, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining poles on distribution and transmission systems, as well as assisting linemen with pole work and operating equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain poles on distribution and transmission systems
  • Assist linemen with pole work and operate equipment such as bucket trucks and digger-derricks
  • Climb energized and de-energized poles as directed
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Perform routine maintenance on crew vehicles
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of related experience or a Line School Certificate
  • Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures and at excessive heights
  • Ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and work outside regular hours as needed
Preferred Qualifications
