The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at American Family Care is responsible for providing high-quality patient care within the scope of their training and approved agreement. This role works collaboratively with other providers and staff to ensure efficient patient flow and a high level of patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive medical assessments, develop treatment plans, and order laboratory and diagnostic studies as needed.
- Formulate medical and nursing diagnoses, institute therapy, and refer patients to appropriate healthcare facilities or resources.
- Provide instructions and guidance regarding health care and health care promotion to patients and their families.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
- ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA Board Certified.
- Active and current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of practice, DEA number, and state-controlled substance certificate, as required.
- Able to multi-task and work independently.
$70.00 per hour.
