The award-winning in-house creative agency, known as D3, is expanding its talented team. This vibrant group includes experts in Creative, Account Management, Strategy, Operations, Production, Social Media, Digital, Cause Marketing, and Partnerships, delivering comprehensive creative solutions for the PepsiCo Foods North American portfolio.

D3 functions as a full-service creative agency, supporting the PepsiCo Foods North America division and working with iconic brands such as Lay's, Doritos, Tostitos, Smartfood, Cap'n Crunch, and Quaker, among others.

As a Lead Creative Writer at D3, you will be a conceptual and strategic thinker, capable of generating and executing ideas across various consumer engagement platforms, from social media content to large-scale campaigns. You will collaborate closely with strategy, account, and creative teams to develop brand strategies, creative initiatives, and specific executions, presenting your work to key stakeholders throughout the organization. Additionally, you will assist the D3 social team in crafting top-tier content for the expanding array of brands we support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop culturally relevant, business-enhancing, high-impact creative work across all media, including broadcast and organic social.
  • Conduct thorough research into briefs, trends, data, and insights to fully understand the business needs, client objectives, and target audience, while identifying new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with creative, account, strategy, social, and brand teams to generate exceptional, innovative ideas and execute them from concept to completion.
  • Produce original copy and refine content for a variety of media formats.
  • Adjust tone and voice as necessary to ensure brand consistency.
  • Present brand strategies, campaigns, and individual projects to key stakeholders within the organization.
  • Stay informed about relevant trends in food, technology, social media, and our target demographics.
  • Become a subject matter expert for assigned brands, demonstrating a deep understanding of their history, strengths, target markets, and opportunities.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • The anticipated salary range for this role is between $72,500 - $121,300, based on a full-time schedule.
  • Actual starting salary will be determined based on location, confirmed job-related skills, and experience.
  • Performance-based bonuses may be available, with a target payout of 8% of annual salary, distributed annually.
  • Paid time off is available, subject to eligibility, including parental leave, vacation, sick leave, and bereavement.
  • In addition to salary, PepsiCo provides a comprehensive benefits package to support employees and their families, subject to elections and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Health and Dependent Care Reimbursement Accounts, Employee Assistance Program (EAP), Insurance (Accident, Group Legal, Life), and a Defined Contribution Retirement Plan.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.
  • 3 - 4 years of professional copywriting experience with a strong portfolio showcasing work in film, stunts, and social media.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring quick turnaround times.
  • Capability to work independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Creative Cloud.
  • Experience in social media or content marketing.
  • Strong proofreading skills and familiarity with standard style guides.
