CG Life is seeking a seasoned Creative Director with extensive experience in digital omni-channel marketing. This pivotal role involves crafting innovative and impactful creative strategies across a multitude of communication platforms. The Creative Director will utilize their proficiency in design, copywriting, and digital user experiences to exemplify creative excellence for both team members and stakeholders.

In this leadership position, the individual will mentor a diverse creative team while continuously enhancing our creative methodologies, approaches, and tools.

Key Responsibilities include:

Leading the Creative Team

  • Inspire and guide a talented group of art directors, designers, content strategists, copywriters, and producers to produce top-tier creative work in the life sciences sector.
  • Advance the creative process and toolset to boost quality, efficiency, and foster ongoing improvement.
  • Expand our creative capabilities through effective management, mentorship, development, and recruitment of creative talent.
  • Provide continuous training, constructive feedback, and support to the creative teams, including conducting annual performance evaluations.
  • Ensure the Resourcing Manager is informed of any workload challenges that may require hiring freelancers or reallocating team members to optimize their skills.
  • Promote awareness of design trends, advertising technologies, innovative media, and cultural shifts to create relevant and impactful digital products and branding.

Collaboration with Clients & Internal Teams

  • Exhibit the ability to strategically collaborate with client teams, agency creatives, and account managers.
  • Build credibility with clients by understanding their business, brand, and stakeholders. Lead creative meetings and presentations effectively.
  • Champion bold, transformative concepts and align them with omni-channel marketing strategies, thinking conceptually for comprehensive, digitally-driven brand campaigns.
  • Demonstrate exceptional skills in presenting creative ideas to clients and internal teams.
  • Assist in developing or reviewing creative briefs that offer strategic insights and inspiration.
  • Educate clients on design, usability, and other best practices, trends, and emerging channels.
  • Present ideas to high-profile clients with a clear understanding of their goals and motivations.
  • Oversee the execution process to ensure the highest standards of creative excellence.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in creative departments at agencies, specifically with omni-channel pharmaceutical clients.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing and leading creative teams.
  • Solid understanding of all core creative disciplines.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing effective design, copy, and digital user experiences.
  • Digitally proficient, with knowledge in interaction design, information architecture, and user experience across various digital platforms.
  • Ability to generate original ideas and communicate them confidently.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance high-level concepts with detailed execution.
  • Strong capability to provide clear creative direction and timely, constructive feedback to teams.
