Job Title: Business Development Specialist

At NerdsToGo of Cary, NC, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue through strategic sales and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Acquisition:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the small to medium-sized business (SMB) market.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients and expand existing relationships.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Understand client needs and preferences to deliver tailored IT solutions and services.
    • Address client inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales Metrics and Reporting:
    • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
    • Generate regular sales reports to track progress and identify opportunities for growth.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the technology or IT outsourcing domain.
  • Strong understanding of locally outsourced IT services and the SMB landscape.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Ability to cultivate relationships and network effectively.
  • Self-starter with a results-oriented mindset and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting techniques.
