Position Overview:
The Senior Events Director plays a pivotal role in enhancing the reputation and success of our athletic programs by managing the comprehensive planning and execution of high-profile events within premium venues.

Key Responsibilities:
This role encompasses a variety of critical functions, including:

  • Overseeing the strategic planning and operational execution of events held in elite athletic facilities.
  • Identifying, developing, and securing partnerships for external event rentals.
  • Managing daily operations of exclusive club and suite areas.
  • Maximizing revenue from non-game day event rentals.
  • Coordinating staffing, logistics, and resources for designated athletic events and operations.
  • Facilitating additional special events as required.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of one year of professional experience in event coordination or a similar area.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to foster positive relationships across diverse groups.
  • Strong oral and written communication capabilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Proven decision-making skills under pressure.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ideal candidates may also have:

  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Two years of experience in event management.
  • Experience in supervising and training part-time staff.

Work Environment:
This position requires availability during core hours, with additional flexibility for evenings and weekends as necessary.
